Subject: Re: Drumheller museum (just curious)
I was at the Tyrrell Museum in July. It was truly fantastic and more than
worth the trip. If you have the time, I would also recommend participating
in one of the Museum's "day digs" (advance registration necessary).

I've never been to the Tyrrell, though I own many of their t-shirts. But
since my dad is from Drumheller,
I remember visting the rinky-dink little museum it replaced on several
occasions. Did they keep anything from that? I remember they had a big
hadrosaur as their main display piece. A pachyrino.... thingy fragment,,<<
That small museum is still there. The Pachyrhinosaurus skull is still there
(not a fragmentary skull, also some of my drawings of the life restoration
of the head :) ). But the hadrosaur is now in lobby of some hospital (I
think that's what they told me last year).
They also have a cool two wheel car there. It is balanced in the middle.
>>On another note, my father claims to have knocked the top off the last
hoo-doo. Not sure if that's good or bad.<<
Nope, the hoo-doo's are still there. He's pulling you leg on that one.
Cheers,<<
