Something else I just think about: most prosauropods (with the possible
exception of _Thecodontosaurus_) are either obligatory quadrupedal or
facultative quadrupedal. Their hands can pronate. CMIIW, there're no basal
theropods with hands which can pronate.
Is it possible that prosauropods and sauropods evolved from a possible more
basal dinosaur (which is still to be found) than known theropods, maybe
omnivorous, with 5-digits hands which could pronate ? (in this case, hands
not able to pronate would be a derived feature)

Maybe a dumb idea, I'm just an amateur paleoartist.
