Re: Hadrosaur Appearance

Mr. Edels.... thanks for the info. I must say, I'm inclined to follow you on the short necked Vs long necked appearances. Same goes for you Tracy with the mummified edmontosaurs. Of course, as Mr. Paul said, it doesn't matter what you think looks good..... it's all up to what nature produced. But hey.... in this field...... I think you are more then safe in reconstructing your animals to appeal to your own tastes...... all within certain anatomical and physiological boundaries of course. :-)

By the way, does anyone have pictures or something of the nuchal ligaments preserved on these animals?..... Or at least pics of the attachment points on others??? I no longer have my photos that would show what I'm looking for.  I hate to be a pest, but..... I'm just trying to get a better understanding as to why life reconstructions of these animals are done in the ways that they are done..... It's why I brought up the neck posture of sauropods and the neck/head mobility of giganotosaurs after all.... There is a reason for my madness.

Oh, and thanks for the heads up about the virus scan.
