Re: reptile fossils in California?

Bakersfield is a good source of dinosaur fossils. There is an exhibit at one of
their perimeter public parks, the name of which eludes me. This exhibit is in
conjunction with either the University of California or the State University
systems.

The only mosasaurs from California I'm familiar with are from the
Moreno Formation near Fresno, a considerable distance south of the Sierra
location you mention. Dinosaurs are found as float in the Moreno as well.
Tracy would probably have the best handle on this. DV
