Biological Questions
I recently attended a Society of Developmental Biology Convention and was
asked a few questions. I did not have the answers.
1) How are paleontologists determining the speed of growth of dinosaurs from
their fossilized remains?
(2) Are the cells of dinosaur bones similar in size to those observed today?
(3) How do paleontologists determine the age of dinosaurs from their
fossilized remains? i.e. 20 years old, 60, etc.
I did learn quite a lot about amoebas and their survival techniques.
Interesting microscopic critters.
Thank you,
Bob Simon
