Re: Taxon name (rauisuchian)

Joe Carter had/has a master's student working on this critter, she may have finished by now; anyhow, they have written it up (with a number of co-authors) and submitted it to Geology. I don't know the present status of the ms though. At least, I presume this is the critter Jean-Michel is thinking of; I believe there are a couple of other recent finds from the Late Triassic of NC....

The rauisuchian apparently has not been formally named (and no indication it will be described and named anytime soon), but it is to be named after the late Alison Chambers.

Cheers all,
not really dinosaurian but I'm quite fond of some archosaurs and among them rauisuchians. I fell on an article in Discovery Channel Canada about a find in 1999 by Dr J.G. Carter in east-central North Carolina. I wonder if it has been described and named yet and if there is any good cladogram on these critters?

Thanks in advance
Jean-Michel
