I was disappointed in that the info
Horner shared was, except for the finds, nothing new. I heard him say the
same things in his "Steak Knives, Beady Eyes, Small Arms" lecture EIGHT
years ago. The material presented in "Valley of the T. rex" is
stagnant.
I also think that no documentary or
scientific work should leave out the input of other scientists. This
documentary was just Horner and his CGI.
And I'd like to point out that the CGI was recycled, just like the "scientific"
viewpoints in the show.
I am annoyed with
Horner's statements about T. rex's predation never having
been questioned. It has been questioned in so much literature, most of it
his, since the 70's, if not before. Certainly within his career, he has
questioned it plenty. And good things have come of this questioning, no
doubt, but it happened already. None of this is new.
I could go on, but I
won't.
