Starkov on biting power

I recall a discussion with Alexei Starkov last winter, and received an
e-mail similar to his latest abstract.  He says T. bataar was better able to
cope with armor than T. rex because its largest (maxillary) teeth were
positioned less anteriorly.  This is dubious.  The PIN 3142/250 hole matches
the premaxillary teeth of PIN 551-3.  If even small teeth in an anterior
position can penetrate armor, why not the largest maxillary teeth?
