Re: Strange Web Site

I agree that this bizarre site was good for a few laughs. He claims that the explanation mustn't be weird, but this is one of the weirdest I've ever come across. I think little green men from outerspace on a Cretaceous safari hunt would probably make more sense.
One good "come-back" might be to ask this guy why the ammonites and lots of other marine organisms went extinct at the same time (gravitation actually killing sea creatures, but not mammals and birds? ---give me a break). This guy needs to read a physics book.
But it would probably be a waste of time trying to reason with him (as Mickey noted). I was recently trying to explain to some guy online that having one copy of the sickle-cell mutation could be advantageous since it confers resistance to malaria (and one has to have both copies with the mutation to develop sickle-cell disease). He just accused me downplaying what a terrible disease it is. Others tried to reason with him as well, but some people are beyond hope, and this weird "gravitational" site may be authored by one of those who are unable or unwilling to listen to reason at all. Once that is apparent, about all you can do is ignore them. I got some chuckles from it, but it is so absurd that it almost makes you want to cry. ........... Now about those extra-terrestrials hunting for dinosaur trophies........ now that sounds simple and plausible (*Just Kidding*).

Today I encountered a very bizarre web site claiming to explain the extinction of the dinosaurs using a change in the gravitational constant.

LOL Reading that nonsense really brightened my day. I love the Gallimimus weighing 27kg! That's juvenile you fool! The only effect a meteorite would bring is a climate change!? Non-dinosaurian reptiles somehow staying overadapted to gravity for over two million years..... Absolutely no reason the aquatic reptiles would become extinct..... So many errors..... can't insult all.... ;-)
I'd say don't waste your time sending an e-mail critique David, he obviously isn't using logic to support his arguments.
