Oceans of Kansas here in the east?

Hi All,

While reading my favorite news rag, The Washington Times today, I happened
upon the Life - Science and Technology page (B4), and I came across a story
in the Webwise section by Joe Szadkowski entitled. "Scientist plugs in to
monster Kansas fossils".

It is review of a webpage operated by our own Mike Everhart and his Oceans
of Kansas website. Since the article has more to do with the web page's
functionality (i.e. written by and for computer geeks) and deals with Mike's
passion which are not dinosaurs, I will not comment further about either. And
since I am not sure what the copyright laws are concerning posting the
article, all I will say is that Szadkowski gives a very positive , ~1/2 page
critique' of the site Additionally, the DML's Dan varner also gets similar
citation as the progenitor of the art that resides on Mike's site. Finally, a
large enough to be read b&w image of the homepage irtself is also featured.

Kudos to both of you and it's great that other worthy souls get some good
press even if it wasn't directly dinosaur related! I'll have to make a mental
note to watch this guy's column more just in case he surfs another member's
site.

The article also mentions Mike visiting the Smithsonian next month to see
material collected by Charles Sterneberg. Mike, contact me off line. Perhaps
we can hook up for a few while you are in my back yard!

Those interested inseeing this article _might_ be able to access it on the
online version of the paper at washingtontimes.com

Very cool!!!!!!!!
