It seems like people are arguing, but saying the same things on both
"sides".
DEFINITION (node-, stem-, or apomorphy-based): stable
DIAGNOSIS (characters): not necessarily stable (except for apomorphy-based
clades, in which case one diagnostic character is stable)
CONTENT (organisms): not necessarily stable (except for internal
specifiers)
Pretty obvious, and I don't see what the fuss is over.
