I have delt in the
past with decision makeing systems that in essence are very similar to
cladistics. Probably a bit more formalized than cladisidics. But even in
those applications we still had to rely on expert opion. However we still
got reliable information using this approach.
So I would suggest that some of our expert folks suggest how they
weight major areas under various conditions. This would provide some
expert rationalization that may be applied as a standard. I have seen no
hint of this at least in the areas that I visit.
