Dodson's not the only one...
Since all dinosaurs are birds, there >are no< non-avian dinosaurs. There can,
however, be non-dinosaurian avians (along the stem joining the common
ancestor of crocodylians and avians to the common ancestor of dinosaurs). As
far as I'm concerned, these have yet to be identified in the fossil record (I
once thought megalancosaurids and Cosesaurus were such, but Dave Peters found
a better place for them), but some might consider "lagosuchians" to be such
animals.
