Subject: _Sarcosuchus imperator_

See the Project Exploration website or the direct link to information on
_Sarcosuchus imperator_ (flesh crocodile emperor) at:
http://www.supercroc.com

The find was announced today by Paul Sereno's Project Exploration foundation
and National Geographic. _Sarcosuchus imperator_ was discovered in the
Sahara, was approximately 40'long and may have weighed 10 tons.

Ok, but Sarcosuchus being a huge crocodiles isn't new. I don't understand
why he's harping on this croc. There already were good skull (complete)
skulls. I suppose he needs the spotlight. Maybe he just has a good press
agent? :)
I was talking to David Schwimmer (the paleontologist) and he said that
National Geographic contacted him and asked if Sarcosuchus was the biggest
crocodile. David is working on a new book on Deinosuchus (which will be out
next year from Indian University Press) and he said Sarcosuchus and
Deinosuchus were different animals and it's difficult to really say which
was bigger.
