Saving Tom Lipka's site

Did others get a letter from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources about 
the Muirkirk Brick Quarry (aka Tom Lipka's site)?  They mention that the owner 
no  longer plans to work the quarry and that options are being investigated. 
The MDNR feels that acquisition of this land would complement that already 
owned by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), 
and a management plan is underway for development as "Dinosaur Park."  

One of the issues being studied is future access to the site, since they feel 
that "research should be a priority activity."
