>And what's
_Szechuanosaurus campi_ ?
A name
destined for the dustbin of taxonomy... The name properly refers to an
isolated "generic" theropod tooth.
This
specimen (or the one that the cast is based on, anyway) is part of the hypodigm
of a new taxon being named by Dan Chure. However, because there were
taxonomic problems in the name he proposed in his disseratation (noted by
reviewers of the modified version of that manuscript destined for publication),
the final published name may indeed be different from the version in the
dissertation.
