Am I way off base,
here, or does the second digit of that foot look a bit on the hyperextended
side?

Yep,
that’s an Oviraptor, you can see a dentary. The foot is intresting, digit 1
(yea, the whole digit) has the claw low and facing the foot, opposite from the
other feet (at least that’s the way it
looks).
