Ooh, spooky.  Where does it live?  What does it use its inner toes for?


Okay, I've stayed up far too late into the night, and put up a few rough
sketches (and explainations) on the web.  These are all North American
critters, because you have to start somewhere.

Just a quick synopsis: For most of the Cenozoic, the large animals of
North America were variations on familiar themes (tyrannosaurs,
ceratopsians, hadrosaurs, etc.)  During the Ice Age, however, all of
these dinosaurs (which had no downy coats) were squeezed down into the
southern portions of North America, allowing the wolly therizinosaurs
(re-colonizing America from Asia) to gain a foothold.

I'm serious about people emailing me pictures (or me emailing somebody
else pictures).  It'd be nice if we got some sort of consistancy out of
this thing, and that'll be easier if all the pictures are in one place.
