Science and the Media: NEW forum in Dino Dish

As the result of certain events on the Vertebrate Paleo list, we've
started a new forum called:

Science and the Media

http://pub55.ezboard.com/fdinosaurinterplanetarygazettefrm11

The purpose of the forum is to create a venue for the discussion of how
science is portrayed in movies, television, the press, and other forms
of media.

It's clear from the endless conversations here and elsewhere that many
professional, semi-professional and amateur paleontologists (vertebrate
and invertebrate) are not generally pleased with the various
"distortions" that take place iin fiction and news.

Here's a place to discuss it at length.

You do not need to register to use this forum, but if you do, it creates
certain conveniences for the user in terms of posting. We use this
particular bulletin board system because of its general ease of use and
the great number of features that it offers as compared to other
systems.
