There are a lot of uneducated people in the world, especially concerning
dinos.  That guy asked about raptors being "mean"...that's more of a
problem than nomenclature.  I don't think that names should be affected too
much by popular ideas, excepting certain possible ICZN issues (i.e.
Tyrannosaurus rex to Manospondylus gigas...*cringe*).

I have to step in here for the good old-fashioned Latin and Greek
(especially Greek) names.  They're the best dino names, the classics!
There's nothing wrong with "-saurus" in my book!

Why's everybody hatin' on the Greek etymology, yo?
