Yes, for me it's jumbling everything ;.-( -- so far I thought the
dinosauroid-prismatic type was primitive for theropods and just retained in
troodontids, with oviraptorosaurs + birds evolving the ornithoid type. Now
it seems like eggshells are just as prone to reversals as most other
characters. At least this makes the dinosauroid-spherulitic type (apparently
the plesiomorphy for dinosaurs) in segnosaurs less strange. If it is true:
