Great point! I'd forgotten entirely about the juveniles. I'd imagine
they could have gotten around some of the competition by moving in groups
with the adults (who could have kept other species away when feeding),
but still the competition and mortality probably would have made a modern
nature show following around something like a hatch of alligators seem
downright kind and gentle. Anyone for an *Apatosaurus* actuary
table?-*Thescelosaurus*
