Jehol biota

I apologize for cross posting.

For a small class that I will be teaching this Spring, I am trying to
compile a list of organisms (including _all_ plants and animals) which
would have been alive at approximately the same time and place as
_Sinosauropteryx_ and the other feathered dinosaurs of China, along with
images and _very, very_ simple descriptions (Ex.: therizinosaur, length
2.2 meters, preserved with integumentary filaments). I mean to
incorporate these into an educational game that I will use with the
students in this class.

I recognize that there is some difficulty in determining the age and
origin of the Yixian fossils, but I feel that it is worth a try. And
please note that there are many layers of rock from this locale,
representing quite a range of time. I am interested only in organisms
from the approximate time of _Sinosauropteryx_.

If anyone can point me to resources (aside from what I would already
have from articles in _Nature_ and the _JVP_), please contact me. I
suggest that you contact me off list unless you believe that your
information would be of general interest to the dinosaur mailing list.

Thank you,
----------
