Chassternbergia, and Edmontoniine Systematics

This rather close-knit and advanced group of nodosaurids appears to be rather
unfunded on the list
... so I'm hoping to start something up with this one, since my last
ornithischian thread failed
:)

Noting how *Denversaurus schlessmani* rose and fell rather quickly, I would
like to entertain
ideas on another ill-discussed taxon, *Chassternbergia*, a name erected to
separate *Edmontonia
rugosidens* from *Edmontonia longiceps*, which includes all other synonyms
except *Denversaurus.*
What exactly is it that is used to place *C. rugosidens* as a polytomous
species relative to
*Panoplosaurus mirus* and *E. longiceps*? Otherwise, it might be just a quick
idea to make them
all *Panoplosaurus* and make *Denversaurus*, *Edmontonia*, and
*Chassternbergia* junior synonyms
of *Panoplosaurus*, where some species may be closer to others.

  So, thoughts on this, anyone?

Little steps are often the hardest to take. We are too used to making leaps
in the face of adversity, that a simple skip is so hard to do. We should all
learn to walk soft, walk small, see the world around us rather than zoom by it.
