Hello!

When I was there last summer I didn't have a chance to check out Hitchcock's 
cabinet because I did not have reservations (they were very hard to come by 
during the summer).  I would think that you could obtain access by contacting 
the curator.  

There is a hell of a lot to be seen naturally :-)  Snow may be a problem, but 
there, for starters, is the Mt. Tom trackway.  Philidor probably knows more, as 
he lives in the area.  I would definitely check out Weishampel and Young's book 
Dinosaurs of the East Coast.  All of the major sites, both museums and those in 
natural settings, are listed there.  

I wouldn't really recommend a night's stay unless you also want to visit the 
Peabody and want to spend a lot of time at some of the museums.
