       There was an astonishing specimen of Velociraptor at the Fighting 
Dinosaurs exhibit at the AMNH. The skull is > very low and long < with max 
teeth protruding below the dentary. The specimen may have been buried in a 
sleeping pose, with the head over the back. Go here and scroll down to the

 Another feature of the Velociraptors there was the fact that the only 
hyper-extended digit #2 was the one imbedded in the Protoceratops.

       This reminds me of the original concept for _King Kong_. Cooper and 
Schoedsack (the directors) were going to take live gorillas to Komodo and 
have them battle live dragons. Makes you shudder just to think of it. Thank 
God they bumped into Willis O'Brien! DV
