Ever Since _Wonderful Life_

Having finally read all the way through Steven Jay Gould's book _Wonderful
Life_, I find my appetite whetted for more.  I know about some of the recent
Cambrian discoveries since the publication of _Wonderful Life_, but my
knowledge of this portion of Earth's history (especially from fossil beds
outside Canada) rather limited.  Can anybody recommend books, websites, or
publications where I can learn more about the Cambrian explosion?

Since this isn't really dinosaur-related, you should probably respond offlist.
