RE: _Dilophosaurus breedorum_

The dual nasolacrimal crest in this species is not

The lachrymo-maxillary suture along the dorsal
surface of the skull has an extensive, apical ridge
along their length which is rough and broken off. This
would have prompted anyone, not to mention Rowe, from
suggesting these were the bases of crests, as in
*Dilophosaurus*. However, Welles' statement that the
type for *Dilophosaurus* had the bases of such crests
shouldn't be discounted because of a non-peer-reviewed
self-published paper. The man is not here to defend or
verify the argument, unless he left notes.
