Kerguelen Plateau

Was the Kerguelen plateau a bridge between India and Antarctica? It makes Indo-Madagascar Cretaceous fauna more similar to Neogondwana (South America+Antarctida+Australia) than Africa. Abelisaurs, titanosaurs and Gondwanatherian mammals are a proof.
Then, India can be a clue to explain zoogeographical mysteries like the similarity between European Eocene  and South American avifaunas (ratites, phorusrhacids, galliforms). During Cretaceous and Paleocene, India might carried a Gondwanic terrestrial fauna to Asia and from it to Europe.
