Dinosaur TV Week
Here are some highlights of U.S. national television
programming concerning dinosaurs, other prehistoric
animals, and the scientific discussion of evolution,
from high art to low trash and (theoretically) back
again, all times Eastern (check local listings to
confirm):
Monday, March 27
TBS, 2:10am
Caveman
Ringo. Very clever man-and-dinosaur slapstick. I
still love _Crosseyedosaurus_ the most.
Thursday, March 30
HISTORY Channel, 9:00am
The Real West
"Dinosaur Hunters of the Old West"
Cope and March struggle for fame and finds. The most
interesting dinosaur in this program is the host.
Sunday, April 2
Discovery Channel, 9:30am
Bonehead Detectives of the Paleoworld
Kid's show about paleontology. This week, "Dino
Diner." What dinosaur poop tells us about their
diets.
The Learning Channel, 8:00pm (rebroadcast 11:00pm)
Mars: Pioneering a Planet
Finding of possible fossil in martian meteoroid or
meteorino or WHATEVER triggers interest in the red
planet.
I'm off to reinvent the wheel,
=====
Larry
"Atheism: a non-prophet organization."
