Re: Dendrorhynchoides



Isn't this pterosaur based on a pterodactyloid specimen to which a >long, rhamphorhynchoid tail has been added artificially (as noted in the Archaeoraptor flap)? Would like to have this confirmed, of course.

Same specimen, but it wasn't a rhamphorhynchoid tail added -- it was a _dromaeosaurid_ tail, which made it appear to be a "rhamphorhynchoid."
