Oops, my fault.  I didn't mean to make it seem like Bakker originally described 
the species, because he certainly did not.  But, I do recall some of his work 
with Epanterias in 1988, and I briefly discussed this with him last year in a 
telephone call, where he told me that Epanterias is NOT _Allosaurus fragilis_, 
but the last member of the Allosaurid family.  Judging from some of the posts 
here I see that many of you disagree!
