Dr. Holtz (or others on the list):  Can you provide me with the name/s of
a book or two which include a good overview of US paleontology in the
mid-to-late 1800's?  I've read Sternberg and Lake, as well as the
dinosaur war books, and have tried unsuccessfuly to get a copy of Master
Naturalist (Cope's letters) but are there others, either contemporary or 
historical, which discuss what was known and/or believed at that time?
