I have to betray my ignorance, or faulty memory, by asking the group a
question: Does anybody know of bonebeds in which a particular
sauropod species dominates the assemblage, the way hadrosaurs and
ceratopsians dominate some Cretaceous bonebeds? Off the top of my
head, and a bit of looking through the literature, I can't think of
any. Most of the sauropod bonebeds I can remember have more than one
species prominent in it. But I can't say I've been right on top of
the sauropod literature, and my memory ain't what it used to be.
Anybody know of any such monospecific sauropod bonebeds?
