    Parataxonomy would be neither neutral nor the least bit informative.  
You may call it a "Cladisto-Eclectic System" if you like, but don't blame me 
if your tongue gets tired or tangled up. :-)
     The full title of the book is more informative.   The Kinman System: 
Toward A Stable Cladisto-Eclectic Classification of Organisms (Living and 
Extinct; 48 Phyla, 269 Classes, 1,719 Orders).

P.S.  By the way, I used the term "semi-paraphyletic markers" in the book, 
and it was others who started calling them "Kinman markers", which is 
certainly easier to say.
