Arundel Field Opportunity (Possible)

Hello all,

I have been reminded by a dear friend that I have been conspicuously absent 
from the DML. All I can say in my defense is "ma vido loco"!
Anyhow, to make amends I would like to start by soliciting the assembled mind 
for volunteers to assist me with a planned paleo-project at my site this 
summer. 
HOWEVER, this is contingent upon certain financial and legal hurdles that 
must be jumped first. The former hurdle is the least certain at this time 
while the latter is a near certainty. 

The project entails the usual bull work i.e. digging, heavy lifting and 
semi-roughing it in which it will be necessary to camp out on the site but is 
unique in that is will be very short (as field seasons go) which would 
ostensibly allow said volunteers to go on to other field camps or summer 
vacations etc. Contact me off list for details.

Right now I am just sending out feelers to get an idea of how much if any 
help I can realistically expect to have. A few of you had previously offered 
to provide such a service in the past so I am giving those individuals first 
crack. Those who are interested, PLEASE email me _off_list_ for more details.
I cannot emphasize enough that this project is NOT YET OFFICIAL and may not 
be approved. When we speak off list there are a few other details I will make 
you aware of. My main requirements are that you are at least 18 years of age 
(property owner's rule), trustworthy (my rule!) and in good enough shape to 
dig clay, wash clay and haul clay! But you do get to do some prospecting as 
well...
Finally, I probably won't know for sure when or if I will have confirmation 
so flexibility and tolerance of "last minute" notification is necessary. The 
project is slated to start in early - mid June and intermittently after that 
throughout the summer.
