I wish the news media would stop writing this kind of sensationalistic 
rubbish in their headlines. It makes it seem, to the reading public, as if 
the reason paleontologists imagine that dinosaurs and birds are related is 
this one specimen that has now turned out to be phonied up, and that 
therefore the "dinosaur-bird link" is "smashed." That is, that dinosaurs and 
birds aren't related after all. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
