Re: Bird origins conference in sunny Florida



Bambiraptor??  Hmmm....no I haven't heard of it.  The only think I can think of 
is the feathered dino that at the time of the National Geographic printing (and 
I assumed until now) was still unnamed.  I believe it came from the Gobi and 
the article referred to it as "the unnamed raptor" or something bland like 
that.  I think Norell and the AMNH team excavated it a few years back, or maybe 
I just heard that somewhere.

Anyway, that is the only think I can think of when I hear "Bambiraptor" and 
National Geographic in the same sentence.....
