I don't know if this has been suggested to you yet, but you should also try the 
Dinosauricon <http://dinosaur.umbc.edu>  This site offers an excellent variety 
of prehistoric earth maps.  

I am also in the process of adding some to my site, but the addition is weeks 
away.
