Subject: Re: Archaeoraptor liaoningensis
I would be interested in hearing from somebody on the list about this story.
Someone in posession of the facts and with the knowledge to shed some light
on this controversial fossil? Back when this find was announced I recall
rumblings of chimeras and "fakery" then there was a pronounced silence, and
finally this news. Where do you dino-mavens stand on this?

I'm wondering if the Stephen/Sylvia Cerzkas should sue the people they
bought the specimen from. In fact I do know who they bought it from and will
probably see them at Tucson this year. I'm also wonder if they did, would it
help stop facted fossils or getting fossils from China.
