I apologize for cluttering the list with this request, but I'm having
some difficulty trying to find several previous posts on this list.
Hundreds of posts ago someone mentioned that a museum (the
Smithsonian--I think?) was taking down one of its dinosaur display
specimens (Triceratops?) because they found huge structural cracks while
cleaning the specimen. I believe that the post made mention of the fact
that the structural cracks were a result of vibrations from the floor
from where hundreds of people walked through the hall. If the original
poster, or someone who may know when that was posted or under what
subject line it was posted under (so I could locate it myself in the
archive), could contact me off-list I would be greatly appreciative.
