RE: *Ovoraptor* Was It's Name-O!

Visited the Dinosaur list archives to see what e-mails had never arrived here
due to continuing AOL problems and turned up this one, among a number of
others. I would have responded days ago had I received it. It seems as if
anyone who wants to show me pornography or sell me some get-rich-quick scheme
gets through AOL's software at will, but when it comes time to receive posts
from the dinosaur list, about half get blocked.

Fred has done his usual incredibly thorough job assembling the references for
just such questions.

Unfortunately, this ain't the sought-after reference for Ovoraptor,
Fenestrosaurus, and Ornithoides. The one you want is

Osborn, H. F., 1924. "The Discovery of an Unknown Continent," Natural History
24: 133-149.

The taxa appear in a faunal list in this article. Unfortunately, my copy of
the article is still boxed up, so I can't double-check it, but I'm sure the
1923 reference isn't right. See, e.g., the 1989 Chure & McIntosh bibliography.
