Well, at least as cassowaries, they ARE!? ;)

Now here's a neat one....
Kofron, C.P. 1999. Attacks to humans and domestic animals by
the
southern cassowary (Casuarius casuarius johnsonii) in
Queensland,
Australia. J. Zool., London, 249(4):375-381.
These guys can be tough. Includes one fatal attack on a
human hunting it. The kick, they bump, they jump on top.
Gives one pause about just how nasty a small theropod with
more armament would be.
