Bagaraatan ostromi
Hi again everyone and a happy new year to all! Now that list members are
returning from the holiday hiatus, I feel it's time to ask some questions
I've had about everyones favorite "A-filled" basal coelurosaur
something-or-other, Bagaraatan ostromi. Though Glut's Dino Encyc supp. 1
(get it now everyone!) provides great figures of the mandible, vertebrae and
pelvis, I still need to know a couple of things:
1. how many caudal vertebrae had transverse processes?
2. were the distal caudal prezygapophyses elongate?
3. did the distal caudal vertebrae have neural spines?
4. is the ascending process of the astragalus expanded laterally like most
coelurosaurs, or centrally placed like Dryptosaurus, Caudipteryx, etc?
5. what is the height/width index of the astragalocalcaneum?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
