Um, I'm going to go ahead and ask the question that's probably on everyone's
mind who's read the article:
Where does Larry Martin get off claiming that a forged pterosaur damages the
dinosaur-bird link?
That comment actually came from Storrs Olson. Larry Martin is
mentioned only in one sentence toward the end.
And as a journalist who's covered some of the same ground, I have to
wonder why there's no mention of Steve Czerkas, and what justifies
the comment "The popular view, thanks most recently to the fictional
Jurassic Park, is that birds evolved
from dinosaurs."
