*** Godzilla returns to Japan

TOKYO (AP) - Godzilla has returned and it's not the slick,
computer-enhanced creation of Hollywood, but the honest-to-goodness
original in all its skyscraper stomping, zipper-up-the-back glory.
Many fans of the legendary lizard felt the U.S. film last year
strayed too far from the spirit of the original. The Hollywood
creature, for example, looked nothing like the original and slithered
around Manhattan skyscrapers rather than flattening everything in its
path. But Japan's quintessential B-movie monster is rediscovering its
roots in "Godzilla Millennium," now being filmed by Toho Co., the
studio that gave birth to the world's favorite mutant dinosaur 
 in a 1954 classic. See
