chimaeras and CT Re: Tracing the origins of an SVP urban legend...

Questions have been raised on this list about the possible chimaeric
nature of Rahonavis.  Whether the type is a chimaera or not is
irrelevant to the avialian nature of the material, as Forster et al.
coded the material both ways - as associated remains and as separate
hind- and forequarters.  All of the material came up avialian in both
cases.
