RE: Sauroposeidon
At 110My, wouldn't this be the wrong age (early Albian) for a Titanosaur in
N.
America?
There's a sauropod from the Morrison Formation named _"Apatosaurus" minimus_
which may be a Late Jurassic titanosaurid. The sacrum has six fused
vertebrae, and the ilium shows the anterior "flaring" characteristic of
titanosaurids. Unfortunately, the sacrum and pelvis is all that's known for
this sauropod.
