Dinosaur TV Week

Here are some highlights of U.S. national television
programming concerning dinosaurs, other prehistoric
animals and evolution, from high art to low trash and
(hopefully) back again, all times Eastern (check local
listings to confirm):

Thursday, July 1

TLC, 9:00pm (rebroadcast midnight)
The Hunt for Amazing Treasures
"Hunt for T-Rex"
In the Black Hills.

Saturday, July 3

AMC, 4:15pm
The Valley of Gwangi
Allosaurs of the Old West. The actual model was
sculpted by Ray Milland of mashed potatoes ...

Sunday, July 4

Discovery Channel, 9:00pm
Warrior Island II: Matisse
"Pygmy Animals"
Dig that show title. How critters get small on
islands (and Steve Martin has nothing to do with it).

I'm a theropod in hadrosaur's clothing,
