Spikey Tails
Recently I've aquired a Uromastyx (AKA spiny-tailed agamids) lizard. They're
rather neat, with spikey tails. I was wondering if any dinosaurs appeared to
have tails like Uromastyx? Ie: not with a club, but with rows of spike-like
scales all over the tail. Do any skin impressions show spikey scales on
nodosaurs or ankylosaurs or other simmilar creatures???
Also, I was wondering...is there any evidence for dinosaurs having tails
that released and twitched when grabbed like many lizards' tails do?
Thanks in advance,
Jessica
